Welcome
Georgiana Molloy was among the first settlers who arrived in the remote South West corner of Western Australia, in 1830. Her world changed suddenly and completely as she faced new life challenges as a settler, wife, mother and sometimes administrator. Initial disdain for the local flora changed to passion and she became a self-taught botanist whose seed collections were exceptional. Her warmth, wit and passion will finally be shared when we have transcribed all of her letters and diaries for the first time.FREE -To automatically receive the next blog entry, please subscribe!
